Tony and Moira Wild left at the end of January. We will miss them - Tony did a magnificent job as secretary while he was here. Margaret van Zijl has taken over as secretary.
The Kiepersol Braai was held on the 28th March, and much enjoyed by the Senior Citizens who attended.
Rotarians from all over District 9320 came to Colesberg from the 17th to the 19th April to attend the Presidents and Officers Elect Training Seminar run by DGE Anne Botha. It involved a lot of work for our members and some volunteers to make sure that all the necessary arrangements were in place at the venue, and to provide assistance with the registration. We did a braai on the Friday evening, and Saturday lunch. The Saturday Dinner, the teas and the bar were farmed out. The event was attended by more than 200 people, many of whom expressed appreciation for the meals we provided, and the arrangements we made.
Jan-Ullrich, son of Matilda Steynberg was inducted as a member on the 15th May. We welcome Jan-Ullrich, who has already done a lot of work for the club
